Black & White Photos Photo One: This photo caught my eye because of the action with the explosion and the soldiers ducking for safety. I see soldiers taking cover from an explosion. I smell gun powder and smoke from relentless gunfire. I hear the screams from soldiers as the bomb explodes I taste mud and dirt in my mouth from the blast. I feel weak and tired from ongoing war. Photo two: This photo caught my eye because of the expression show and how good the shot is because of how focused and the balance. I see wrinkles from sadness and a long life of pain. I smell the flesh of a rotting soul. I hear the weeps of a tired woman. I taste stale air from a place without love. I feel empathy for someone who has lost everyone. I would want to make a powerpoint to showcase each photo and to really explain why each photo is special.

Theme Parks I would go to Gullivers Kingdom because of how different it was than American amusement parks along with a giant guy. 1. Chernobyl, Ukraine 2. Tianzi Mountains, China 3. Socotra Islands, Yemen 4. Catacombs, France 5. Cat Island, Japan I feel like it would be fun to take pictures here because it it like nowhere else in the world and it seems almost imaginary. To go on a tip i would have to get a flight to Japan then catch a tourist bus to the mountains. I would then rent a car to find good photo spots. I would bring climbing gear to get the best shots.

Africa I feel like its a good thing that he's photographing African wildlife because lots of it is in danger. He went from being a normal videographer for celebrities but made the transformation to wildlife which would be a big change. He is not just photographer he is an activist which makes his photo that much better. This photo shows the skull of a giraffe lying in the desert while other giraffes are walking away on the horizon. This represents how animals are danger and how few there are left. This image uses the rule of thirds because the giraffes in the back are one of the made focuses and they are located in the top right of the screen. Nick Brandt He uses a 6711 lens to take genuine black and white photos and it has no zoom so he can capture the true spirit of the animals. His reasoning behind taking the photos is to show the animals as they truly are in the wild before it goes away. He hopes to spread awareness about the animals and save them from going extinct bec

Manipulation and Ethics A. One point. the article made were that manipulating photos is risky and can cost you. Another point it made was that from the moment we change a photo even the slightest bit its changing reality and is no longer the truth. B. That there is a certain limit to photo manipulation. Although they do manipulate photo in certain circumstances. If the camera is not capturing the correct tone or fails to capture the right sounds they will alter the photo to C. I feel like changing the brightness is fine when altering a photo because your not really changing colors or altering things in the photo. Another things that I feel would be acceptable when catering a photo is cropping because your not changing anything within the photo your just focusing on certain parts. D. This is the most unethical photo to me. The photo shows a picture of John Calhoun and Abraham Lincoln. A photographer stitched Abrahams head over Johns head. To me its the most unethical be

Story In the photo the teacher is conducting a lab experiment to his class. All the students seem to be engaged and exited. This leaves the viewer wondering what happens just like a story. The entire frame is used by showing not just the teacher but all of his students and the object in which they are experimenting on to which help with showing the setting of the story.. Emotion In the photo both people don't just seem to be happy, they seem amazed. They are having a really good time in the photo because of things around them. This shows true emotion because its something they obviously care and have passion about is making them happy. The photo uses the entire frame with both individuals and their surroundings which shows why they have these certain expressions. Interesting The giant fire ball definitely draws the most attention by making the picture look cool. But if you look closely he's not holding anything and the flames are sitting in his hand. This pho

Sofia's Blog https://sophiaphotojournalism.blogspot.com/2019/09/prompt-shoot-metal.html I like how although all the books are different in the square photo they all fit together and there are so many that it gives the photo depth. I also like how the bulldog head is incorporated with the rule of thirds unlike others that i saw. One thing i think needs work is just try to find a better background for the flowers or a least put more focus on them. Seslee Sagebiel's Blog https://sesleephotojornalismblog.blogspot.com/2019/09/prompt-shoot-1.html I like how in the lines picture the lines aren't just physical lines the there is the reflection that makes its own line. I also like the squares in the back because it adds a second element of squares. One thing i dislike is the merger on the right side of the screen which it a white block that stands out.

Post Shoot Reflection 1. Trouble finding angles to make satisfying picture out of ordinary things. 2. The technical aspect I focused on the most was holding the camera to find the best angles. 3. I would try to focus more on taking each photo rather than spending all my time trying to find easier things for the prompt. 4. I would still focus on finding abstract and satisfy angles. 5. Yes, because I would want to see how much better I can do each time with not just getting a good photo but finding better things to ft the prompt

Photo Shoot #1 Square This photo uses the rule of lines. This is an image of the fence standing at the end of the A hall. The lines going both ways on the fence give the photo a disoriented but symmetric feeing. To me, the rule of lines is how the lines satisfy the eyes of the viewer either by depth, angle, or alignment. Metal This photo represents framing. The fire hydrant covers the whole right, bottom, and some of the top corner. This draws the focus towards the hanging object and away from the sidewalk. To me, framing means to draw focus away from the edge of the screen while giving the photo depth. Happy This photo uses the rule of lines. The main focus in the picture is the person because of the lines going down the hallway. These lines create a portrait with depth for the person. Bowie This photo r
